Currently SDI stopped all its regular activities/program for the cause of Govt. General Vacation but observed the situation gravely. SDI initiated response by establishing Hand wash points at different public places, distribution of awareness building leaflet and by erecting banner in the working area.

NU facilitated community forums - Citizens Rights Group (CRG) are working on 63 unions of 7 upazilas of Barishal, Pirojpur, Tangail and Rangpur district to aware people about the risk of spreading COVID-19, ensuring expats maintaining home quarantine, assisting administration and law enforcing agencies in maintaining social distancing as well as connecting the most vulnerable people to the government emergency support

ESDO is very much familiar with downward of accountability mechanism and have understanding on CHS, Sphere and other humanitarian & accountability standards. At present, ESDO is working with institutional disaster response donor Start Fund Network for responding COVID 19 pandemic crisis in three districts- Panchagor, Thakurgaon and Lalmonirhat.

Since 17 March to till the date, Caritas Bangladesh (CB) reached protective and preventive messages to 1,131,765 people (226,403 HHs) under 490 unions of 130 upazila (sub-districts) in 43 districts and more than 80 wards under 10 Municipalities and six City Corporations. Unnayan Sangha has been implementing different activities on COVID-19 from 18 March’2020. By this time the organization has distributed 30000 posters/leaflets, 5000 masks, 5000 soaps and organized more than 2000 demonstration on hand washing, arranged small group meeting with about 5 lakh households and 270 sex workers at Jamalpur brothel in Jamalpur and Sherpur districts
