করোনা অতিমারি জাতীয় ও বিশ্বব্যাপী বিভিন্ন মাত্রায় ক্ষতির সৃষ্টি করেছে। সমগ্র বিশ্ব যখন এই ক্ষত কাটিয়ে উঠছিল, ঠিক তখনই ইউক্রেন-রাশিয়ার যুদ্ধ বিশ্বব্যাপী অনিশ্চয়তার এক নতুন মাত্রা যোগ করেছে। বাংলাদেশও সেই অনিশ্চয়তার ফল ভোগ করছে। বিশেষত, বৈশ্বিক সরবরাহ শৃঙ্খল ভেঙ্গে পড়ায় নিত্যপ্রয়োজনীয় দ্রব্যের মূল্য বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে। এ অবস্থায় পিছিয়ে পড়া মানুষ নতুন করে ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন হয়েছে।
The outbreak of Covid-19 has caused both national and global repercussions. As the world was preparing to mitigate the losses, the conflict in Ukraine emerged as another shock. Bangladesh is also bearing the consequences. The prices of different commodities have soared in the domestic market of Bangladesh.
As the COVID-19 is superimposed on pre-existing disparities, the repercussions for SDGs have been channelled to vulnerable groups, exposing them to a disproportionate brunt and risking the core principle of the agenda of leaving no one behind. COVID-19 has affected almost all SDG indicators.
এসডিজি বাস্তবায়ন প্রক্রিয়া ও শোভন উন্নয়ন ধারায় সমাজের সকল স্তরের মানুষকে সম্পৃক্ত করার উদ্দেশ্য নিয়ে আগামী ৬ ডিসেম্বর ২০১৭ তারিখে রাজধানীর কৃষিবিদ ইনস্টিটিউশনে আয়োজিত হবে “নাগরিক সম্মেলন ২০১৭: বাংলাদেশে এসডিজি বাস্তবায়ন”।
