Korvi Rakshand, Founder of JAAGO Foundation received on the February 21st, 2017 “The 2016 UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize” in recognition of their “Online School” project for innovative use of Information, Communication and Technologies (ICT) in the field of Education.
The award is the recognition of JAAGO Foundation’s work in eradicating poverty by providing quality education through ICT to the underprivileged community in the remote areas of Bangladesh through Online School thus implementing and established SDG Goal – 4 – “Quality Education” in Bangladesh.
