As is known, a central overarching objective of the SDGs is to "leave no one behind". From this perspective, the Citizen’s Platform prepared the present volume in collaboration with its partners, and with support from eminent experts, recording the state of SDG delivery in the country.

Citizen’s Platform for SDGs, Bangladesh: The Journey and the Learnings documents the transformative evolution of one of the most dynamic civil society initiatives of the country. Since its inception in 2016, the Citizen’s Platform has evolved into a vibrant network of over 150 organisations, united by the core commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and driven by the shared principle of “Leaving No One Behind”.
এ প্রকাশনাটিতে নাগরিক প্ল্যাটফর্ম কর্তৃক আয়োজিত ‘যুব সম্মেলন ২০২২’ এর বিভিন্ন উপস্থাপনা, আলোচনা এবং বক্তব্যকে একত্রীকরণ করা হয়েছে। এসডিজি নিয়ে যুবসমাজের ভাবনা এই প্রকাশনায় গ্রন্থিত হয়েছে যা উৎসুক পাঠকদের আগ্রহ পূরণে সহায়ক হবে বলে আশা করছি।
Bangladesh, in the recent past, has been able to achieve remarkable success in many fields. However, the country's development narrative has been foreshadowed by a number of fault lines that concern an absence of distributive justice in the areas of income and assets, unequal access to public services, and lack of participation in representative institutions.
গত পঞ্চাশ বছরে বাংলাদেশ উন্নয়নের ক্ষেত্রে একটি অনুকরণীয় উদাহরণ হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। কিন্তু উন্নয়নের এই অর্জনগুলো কী দেশের সবার মধ্যে সুষমভাবে পৌঁছেছে, নাকি উন্নয়ন শুধু মেগাপ্রকল্পের মধ্যে আটকে আছে?
২০২২ সালে নাগরিক প্ল্যাটফর্ম দেশের সাতটি জেলায় নাগরিক পরামর্শ সভার আয়োজন করে। যার সারসংক্ষেপ এ সংকলনের অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আলোচ্য বিষয়।
