Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN)

Bangladesh Open Source Network-BdOSN, a not-for-profit voluntary organization working since 2005. Its mission is to support the motivated and committed youths by empowering them with technology based education, knowledge and enabling innovation to supplement the effort of the Govt.

Renowned educationists, eminent personalities and a set of enthusiastic & young IT, ICT professionals of Bangladesh are leading BdOSN’s efforts as think tanks and change makers through its Executive Committee.

BdOSN is a pioneer in promoting women’s inclusion in ICT sector in the country. BdOSN has reached out to more than 9,000 girls in 35 districts through various ICT related programs. All the activities have been designed focusing on IT and ICT under this project for graduate and masters level university/colleges female students.

It has earned international recognition for promoting science and technology education among children and youth. BdOSN works with different national partners including Government of Bangladesh as well as International organizations like the Internet Society (ISOC), Association of Progressive Communication (APC etc).
