Youth for Change Bangladesh Foundation (YFC-BD)
Youth For Change Bangladesh Foundation (YFC-BD) is a youth-led organization working on girls’ rights issues and broader social change in Bangladesh. It is part of the global youth-led coalition of activists titled “Youth For Change,” working in partnership with organizations and governments to create positive change in society. The coalition launched in 2015 as a project of Plan International and became an independent entity in 2018, with member organizations based in Bangladesh, the UK, and Tanzania. YFC-BD is registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) of the Government of Bangladesh.
Founded in 2018, the organization has been working on a range of issues, including gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), climate action, youth capacity development, education, and health. YFC-BD believes that young people hold unique insights, experiences, and recommendations that can make decision-making more effective. Its mission is to ensure that young people influence policy decisions and solve real community problems by equipping them with leadership, education, and collaboration skills. Through programs, mentorship, and hands-on projects, the organization helps youth turn ideas into measurable impact.
