SERAC Bangladesh
SERAC-Bangladesh is a youth-focused non-profit and non-government organization in special consultative status with the UN-ECOSOC, working on advocacy and sustainable development issues in Bangladesh since 1991.
SERAC-Bangladesh have been working on health rights of young people and universal health coverage issues with NGO and INGOs. SERAC-Bangladesh is the host organization of the Bangladesh National Youth Conference on Family Planning. this year the conference completed its 8th year.
We formed the Bangladesh Youth Health Action Network-BYHAN, which is now been representing in different international and regional forums to speak about SRHR, mental health and other health context of Bangladesh which indicates universal health coverage.
SERAC-Bangladesh is a part of the World Urban Youth Council Network as we formulated Bangladesh Urban Youth Councils Network in four cities including Mymensingh, Narayanganj, Rangpur and Rajshahi to achieve equitable engagement of young people at local level decision making process.
