Marie Stopes Bangladesh (MSB)

Since 1988, Marie Stopes Bangladesh (MSB) has been providing high quality and affordable sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, particularly family planning and safe MR (menstrual regulation) services to the urban, semi-urban and the rural community people through several approaches. MSB is committed to improve the SRH status of the poor, highly at-risk and the vulnerable women and girls of Bangladesh. MSB is one of the leading partners of Marie Stopes International (MSI), UK. Presently, with around 1,900 staff, MSB serves more than 2 million clients every year from 400 service delivery outlets throughout the country.

MSB’s activities are in relevance with all the initiatives of the SDG platform such as track the progress of SDG delivery, sensitise policymakers towards challenges in implementation, bring transparency in the implementation process, facilitate exchange of information and coordination among all those working on the SDGs in Bangladesh and also facilitate relevant stakeholders to work for the poor and marginalised.

MSB works for safe motherhood, neonatal & child care, sexual & reproductive health, family planning and safe menstrual regulation services through a network of clinics and outreach teams. MSB also advocates for health-related policy improvements. Quality of care, working for the poor, marginalised and inaccessible people are the focus of MSB activities.
