Friendship

Established in 2002, Friendship serves 4.2 million lives a year, providing integrated services in Health, Education, Sustainable Economic Development, Climate Change Adaptation & Disaster Management, Inclusive Citizenship and Cultural Preservation. Friendship has also been active in the Rohingya crisis response in Bangladesh recently with health, WATSAN, reforestation and educational services. To help address the needs of remote and marginalized communities in Bangladesh, we pioneered the floating hospital concept. We mainly work in the shifting northern river islands and the southern coastal areas, which due to their remoteness and geographical location, lack infrastructural development, are subject to a high frequency of natural calamities Friendship’s holistic needs-based approach to delivering sustainable solutions through these sectors has developed to become a successful integrated model.
