Coastal Education and Diversity Improvement Organization (CEDIO)
CEDIO is a non- government, non-profitable, non-sectarian, community development youth focus organization established in 5th February 2011 tempered with the philanthropic efforts of some of the likeminded long experienced social workers envisioning to community development for the underserved, disadvantaged people and ensure organizational sustainability through quality service. Keeping in mind the goals and objectives. CEDIO has been implemented various development activities since its inception to till date with the financial assistance of different individual and personal funds. CEDIO programs are – Health (Environment, Water, Sanitation, Hygiene, and Awareness & Road safety program), Sustainable Environmental Resource Management, Adaptation to Climate Change, Education, Secure Livelihoods, Human Rights & Good Governance, Disaster risk reduction, Agriculture and Gender-Equity. In life time of the organization we have served directly near about 60,000 (Sixty Thousand) people.
The organization is working in alliance with 16 organizations from 4 coastal regions of Bangladesh through the Sundarban Coalition. Besides CEDIO has started working in partnership with CNRS from March `24।
