CBM Global Disability Inclusion, Bangladesh

CBM Global Disability inclusion Bangladesh has been working in partnership with government, local non-governmental and disabled people’s organizations for the promotion, protection and full enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedom of people with disabilities in Bangladesh. Our vision is to create an inclusive world in which all people with disabilities enjoy their human rights and achieve their full potential.

Drawing on over 100 years working experience we work with the most marginalized communities to break the cycle of poverty and disability; treat and prevent conditionals that lead to disability; and build inclusive communities where everyone can enjoy their human rights and achieve their full potential.  CBM global Bangladesh reached 858,216 people from 2015-2020 covering 30 districts with the support of seven implementing partners.

CBM Global Bangladesh is committed to working for disability inclusion, taking a rights-based approach that is based on partnership with organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs). As CBMG programmatic strategy illustrates ‘partnership with and accountability to disability movement’ as the centre of its ‘vehicle for change’ where field programmes, advocacy and external advisory work of CBMG will be grounded on close engagement of OPDs.
