Asif Ibrahim is the Vice Chairman of Newage Group of Industries, a diversified Bangladeshi conglomerate in garments, textiles, and plastics. He leads the group’s strategic and operational direction.

A strong advocate for policy reform, sustainable development, and social responsibility, Asif serves on the executive council of the UNESCAP Sustainable Business Network (ESBN), promoting the Asia Pacific Green Deal for Business.

He is a former President of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), founder of Business Initiative Leading Development (BUILD), and has held leadership roles in various national and international private sector organizations.

Asif has played an active role in Bangladesh’s capital market having served as Chairman of the Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC (CSE).
