In the aftermath of the July–August uprising, citizens carried strong expectations for reforms across multiple fronts. These reforms were envisioned as critical steps toward advancing socio-economic development, strengthening political institutions, and upholding human rights.

On 27 February 2025, the Citizen’s Platform for SDGs, Bangladesh, hosted a virtual side event of the 12th Asia-Pacific Forum for Sustainable Development (APFSD) titled “NextGen Partnerships: Empowering Youth to Accelerate SDG Delivery”.
The White Paper Committee members in October 2024, interacted with over eight hundred people at public hearings in Sylhet, Chittagong and Rajshahi. The hearings were designed to solicit stakeholders' perspectives, especially those of the “left behind” communities, regarding current economic challenges.
On January 02, 2024, Bangladesh officially provided its expression of interest to prepare its third Voluntary National Review (VNR) for the upcoming High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) 2025. From the perspective of SDG implementation, this review seeks to strengthen government policies and institutions, mobilise multi-stakeholder support, and forge partnerships in the attainment of SDGs by 2030.
কারিগরি শিক্ষা ও বৃত্তিমূলক প্রশিক্ষণ সরকারের একটি গূরুত্বপূর্ণ কার্যক্রম হলেও কর্মসংস্থান নিশ্চিতকরণ এবং কারিগরিভাবে দক্ষ ব্যক্তিদের জন্য কর্মসংস্থান অনুকূল করার ক্ষেত্রে এখনো আশানুরূপ পরিবর্তন হয়নি। কারিগরি শিক্ষার মান, দেশ ও বিশ্ববাজারের বাজারচাহিদা অনুযায়ী উপযোগী পাঠ্যক্রম তৈরি, শিক্ষক সংকট, পাঠদানের মান, অবকাঠামো উন্নয়ন ও ব্যবস্থাপনাগত দক্ষতা ইত্যাদি ক্ষেত্রে এখনও ঘাটতি রয়ে গেছে।
বাংলাদেশের আদালতগুলোতে বর্তমানে প্রায় ৪২ লাখ মামলা বিচারাধীন আছে। স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে বিরোধ মীমাংসায় গ্রাম আদালতের এখতিয়ার ৩ লাখ টাকায় উত্তীর্ণ হলেও পৌর বোর্ড আইনের মাধ্যমে বিরোধ নিষ্পত্তি এখনও ২৫ হাজার টাকার মধ্যেই সীমাবদ্ধ। আদালতে সালিশ বা আপসযোগ্য বিরোধগুলো নিষ্পত্তিতে দীর্ঘ সময়ের প্রয়োজন হওয়ায় আর্থিক ক্ষতি, হয়রানি ও বিভিন্ন সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হতে হয় বিচারপ্রার্থীদের।
